Summary/Abstract: The resumption of the oriental crisis and the political, diplomatic and military events related to it between 1875-1878 influenced – like the previous edition of the same substantive issue – the historical destiny of the Romanian society, while correcting not only the legal status of its eve, but also the configuration of the state borders towards the same south-eastern direction.
