Summary/Abstract: This article draws for the first time the attention of researchers on a whole new aspect in the activity of Prince Alecsandru Ioan the First: his visits to the Principalities of Romania. By relying solely on archive material the article reconstructs aspects concerning: 1. travel arrangements; 2. route and duration 3. guarantee of the Prince’s safety and communication with the Prince if the situation required it; 4. welcoming ceremonies and visit program.
