Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article is Leopold Buczkowski’s works considered as a literary representation of a traumatic world of war. The reality in Buczkowski’s novels is traumatic where orders of life are contrasted: Symbolic and Real (J. Lacan), existence and bare life (G. Agamben), bareness and exile (K.H. Bohrer and E.W. Said); where peace of existence is being destroyed by the importunate force of traumatic war events. Trans. A. Gierba
