Summary/Abstract: Assuming that the naturally human way of functioning in the world is by approaching it through stories, the uthor suggests that we use “fiction” to name institutionalized arratives (independent of the medium), distinguishing among them anthropofictions, i.e. stories which allow a human being understand what it actually means to be human. If anthropofictions are studies of life on the basis of case studies (anthropological laboratories, where our imagination learns models of reality and existence), then the research into them becomes a scene of laboratory analysis. Philology of speculative existentialism presented in this article maps human existence by the fictions analyzed and as such seems to be an immanently experimental science.
