Quantififying the quality of governance the quality in the economy

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the concept of good governance, namely good governance, pointing to its continuous evaluation. Types of indicators describing the process of government in the economy are also presented. The research part of the article is devoted to the publication of the level of governance quality in Polish economy, in the period 2009-2012, using data compiled by The Heritage Foundation and Dow Jones & Company (Index of Economic Freedom). The effectiveness of Polish governance to the European average was also compared, on the basis of research conducted by the World Bank (The Worldwide Governance Indicators).
