Summary/Abstract: Public-private partnership (PPP) outlives its renaissance which can be compared to industrial revolution times. PPP has been more often applied because of the rising needs of new and the maintenance of existing infrastructure and increasing deficits of public resources. The article is aimed to assess PPP market development in Europe with emphasizing historical similarities.
