The National and Ethnic Minorities Committee of the Sejm's international relations in the years 1989-2011

Summary/Abstract: The Ethnic and National Minorities Committee of the Sejm have developed bilateral and multilateral international contacts that were caused of specific conditions of nationality and politics. The meetings on the field of cooperation of interparliamentary working groups and Inter-Parliamentary Union were most frequent and substantive. There were also other examples of international contacts: members of parliament's foreign trips, their participation in international conferences as well as the relations with diplomats accredited in Poland and with representatives of other states' national minorities.
