The question of Russian emigration in Bulgaria

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to some aspects of the history of the first wave of Russian emigration in Bulgaria. The main topic concerns the Russian, who were victims of the Civil War in Russia,who can be regarded as exiles. The author is focused on some representatives of the so-called'white emigration'. The role of Bulgarian government and different international organizationsin order to help Russian emigrants is another point in the article. The author has studied the activities of Russian refugees within organizations in exile as well as the negative attitude of the Soviet Union towards Russian emigrants.
