Planning problems in the areas of landscape parks near Wrocław on the example of Ślężański Landscape Park

Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the problem of changes in the landscape of protected areas on the example of Ślężański Landscape Park, located in Wrocław functional area, as a result of current socio-economic and planning decisions taken by the local authority. A discussion on the principles of land management is particularly important in relation to areas of high scenic value, where there are strong urbanization processes. Experience has made it possible to identify key spatial conflicts that take place in areas of analyzed landscape park and to determine their causes, with particular regard to laws relating to giving opinions and decisions for such areas.
