Summary/Abstract: The project „After 25 years. Communism in Eastern Europe”, organized by the Faculty of Political Sciences from “Petre Andrei” University from Iasi, The Institute for The Study of Ideologies and Polis Journal in collaboration with The European Institute Publishing House and with prestigious cultural publications from Romania, coordinated by Prof. Ph.D. Sorin Bocancea, has continued with its activities from June to December 2014. The activities were: the debate The students’ humor in communist Romania; the round table conference 23 August after 70 years; the debate The Romanian press from communism to post-communism (coordinator Sorin Bocancea); the seminar Literature and ideology. In the shadows of socialist realism; the conference The soviet underground; alternative music from 1945 – 1991, held by the writer Vasile Ernu; the varnishing of the exposition The History of the Cold War; the opening of the Library of Memoirism belonging to the Faculty of Political and Administrative Sciences; the debate Exiled among brothers; the varnishing of the exposition The Wall. A border inside Germany; the international conference 25 years from the fall of the Berlin Wall; the launching of the book This is how we have spent the Revolution, event organized by Sorin Bocancea and Mircea Muresan. Within the project, during 2015, another six books will be published by The European Institute Publishing House.
