Summary/Abstract: The object of this publication was a synthetic overview of selected issues of the legal aspects of prospecting, exploration and mining of hydrocarbons in Poland in the legal status applicable from 01 January 2015. This article in its established framework takes into account the review of new legal solutions such as eg.: the qualification procedure, the cooperation agreement, mandatory establishment of security claims for granting licenses for exploration of deposits of hydrocarbons and their production.
