Summary/Abstract: This article addresses the concept of climate and energy security law at the Central European level. The paper begins with a general background on reasons to indicate the legal level between the state level and the European Union level. The next section provides a brief overview of international climate and energy law. The third section discusses selected issues related to legislation of the European Union. In order to provide deeper insight, the next part of the analysis is based on the domestic law of the Czech Republic. The final section examines the arguments for the introduction of the new level of cooperation in the area of climate and energy security.
