Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on the analysis of structural competitiveness of Polish trade with the USA in face of the negotiation of Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) between EU and US. The process is discussed in the context of wealth-effect of international trade as well as overregional international integration. Apart from analytical debate, this paper attempts to determine challenges and chances for Polish foreign trade with US and EU countries as well as the economy in view of modern-factor-imports from US. The introduction offers insight into determinants and data of Polish intra-industry trade.
