Interventions in autism in Iasi municipality

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to describe genesis of the field of autism intervention in Iasi. For this purpose we conducted a survey of land in four institutions providing psycho‑educational services for children with autistic spectrum disorders. The objectives were: describe how Services are organized, analyzing how professionals were formed, how they collaborate with parents and other institutions. Following this research revealed that the Iasi NGOs have played a role complementary to state institutions, initiating or supporting good development of psychosocial services for children with autism.
