Summary/Abstract: The Influence of Changes of Some Conditionings on the Level of Potential Feeding Area Utilization in Dairy Farming in Poland And Germany in Years 1996-2011 Summary: The purposes of the work was analyze and evaluate of impact on some of the conditions of dairy farming and potential forage area (PPP) to changes of the level of its use in a production of milk in Poland and Germany at a specific time, divided into two equal sub-periods due to the length of the period of Poland’s membership in the EU. Among periods 1996-2003 and 2004-2011 in both countries exist statistically substantial differences in the size of most examined variables. In the examined period Germany characterized the smaller dynamics of changes of the volume of milk production, milk-efficiency of cows, their quantities and PPP. In Germany the growth of the cows milkiness and fall of PPP in smaller degree than in Poland improved the technical productivity of PPP. In greater degree than in our country the growth of milk production positively affected to this productivity. In Germany the fall of the number of milk cows and the fall of the size of PPP strongly influenced on a decrease of cows number on 100 ha PPP than in Poland.
