Summary/Abstract: Based mainly on St. Paul’s theology and partly on St. John’s theology, the author reveals the essence of baptism and its Christological and ecclesial base. Next, he enhances the four important acts of grace arising from the sacrament of baptism. If the acts are recognized by Christians in a deeper awareness of the reality of the sacrament, accepted and incorporated in their interaction with God, they become important dimensions of the dynamics of the Christians spirituality development. These are: 1) the grace of conversion associated with the call to abandon sin and to adopt a new life in Christ; 2) the grace of enlightenment combined with a call to explore the mysteries of God; 3) the grace of belonging to the Mystical Body of Christ, connected with a call to live with ecclesial consciousness in a union with Christ and others, and to engage in the evangelizing mission of the Church.
