Summary/Abstract: At a time when so many researchers and practitioners call into question the sense of Corporate Social Responsibility, the further development of this concept requires a new approach based on innovation. Innovation in communication with stakeholders, socially responsible products or business models and R&D partnerships are the new trend in CSR. Presented case studies show that by using innovative solutions companies are able to increase the efficiency of social and environmental activities, significantly bringing them closer to the theoretical assumptions of the Corporate Social Responsibility concept.
