Summary/Abstract: The author applies theoretical vocabularies from the field of literature's materiality, especially the technotexts by N. Katherine Hayles, Zenon Fajfer's liberature or the remediation of print by Jay David Bolter. Such a theoretical background serves to analyze the oeuvre of Polish writer and visual artist, Robert Szczerbowski, whose works from 1970s. and 80s. As well as those published at the beginning of the 90s., are considered here as an example of a conscious use of textual media and an exploration of the limits of the book as medium.
