Some guidelines for branding the Island of Pag for the purpose of tourism development

Summary/Abstract: Croatian islands are becoming important tourist destinations, so a systematic management of their tourist development is necessary. With branding of tourist destinations, various benefits are realized, while the sole process of branding is lengthy and requires effective implementation. On the basis of the conducted research (using the method of interviewing of experts) as well as a review of relevant literature, this paper suggests certain guidelines for branding the Island of Pag for the purpose of tourism development.
