Improving the quality and efficiency of business processes through insourcing

Summary/Abstract: The primary concept for insourcing is outsourcing, which is relatively well described in the literature. In this article insourcing is defined as an inclusion processes in the enterprise that were previously performed through outsourcing. This paper presents mechanisms to improve the quality and efficiency of business processes through insourcing. A thesis was formulated that the conditions for the decision to insourcing are analogous to “make or buy” dilemma. Due to both external and internal changes in business environment, in the long run the same process may be performed interchangeably using outside or inside resource. In addition, the article presents case study of insourcing process of internet marketing.
