Summary/Abstract: When it comes to information literacy – the fact is that it is аt very low level, in huge number of cases, when we talk about students, but even when we talk about professors and librarians. Largely due to the explosion of information on the internet, there are problems that lie in not knowing how to arrive at the existing sources of information. In addition, the source of the problem is sometimes the fear of new technology, and, sometimes, shame to admit ignorance. The amount of available literature is bigger than ever, as in physical form, so in the electronic, but, as in any search of the good stuff – it is difficult coming to them. The librarians here come into play. Also, new formats, new programs appear constantly, but new opportunities carry the need for continuous improvement. More than evident is the need for training, and the Belgrade Polytechnic for years has been implementing, primarily training students, by level, but also teachers.
