Summary/Abstract: Each scientific work inevitably leads to ask ourselves whether what science is, what is its specificity in relation with other forms of knowledge, what is its structure, which are its objectives, its ultimate purpose. Therefore, this paper will contain a review on general methodology of science, including brief insight into the development and constitution of museology in science. Museology prospered along with development of its definition and its objectives. Methodologically determined by information science, museology examines characteristics of objects in role of carriers that can transmit massages in organized and directed way man to man, society, over time, within different contexts.
