Theoretical criteria for shaping the last mile logistics and real possibilities of their use in the area of the largest Polish agglomerations

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present the construction and development of the last mile logistics infrastructure in the seven largest cities in Poland. The article answers the question whether and to what extent there are real transformations in the field of logistic infrastructure used in the process of distribution. Does Polish logistic infrastructure of supply chains enable the distribution processess in a manner consistent with sustainable development of cities? Are the changes taking place in accordance with theoretical assumptions of European experts dealing with pratial planning and logistics?
