Freedom of expression as a cornerstone of democratic states and its multifaceted nature

Summary/Abstract: Freedom of expression is complex, which means that its essence consists of many rights. Unit referring to freedom of speech has the right to have their own opinion, has the right to communicate information and ideas, and also has the right to seek and receive information. In this aspect proved that freedom of speech is reflected at the level of interaction: the unit with other units (exchange of views); entities with public authorities, the media (right to information). Freedom of expression is evaluated, relativization and conceptualization, allowing each to determine its content, the meaning and scope of the present in a collision with other states, values or goods.
