The strategic character of Rare Earth Elements

Summary/Abstract: The competition of natural resources is one of the implications of dynamic changes in international area. It’s not only about energy resources but also resources from high-tech sector. In this context Rare Earth Elements are one of the most desirable. A competition of access to these deposits is one of the key issues for international politics. The main aim of this article is to present specific of these resources with showing the most rich in REE in the world. Second part of thesis presents the activity of countries especially engaged in REE sector and implications in international environment.
