Poverty in Poland conditioned with socioeconomic situation of the country in 1990-2003 years

Summary/Abstract: A poverty is a serious social issue in Poland generating critical situations in the life of individuals and the community. It is effect of the maladjustment in the organization of the social life to individual and collective needs. Amongst factors generating different forms of poverty are: low income level, lack of the education, variety of the forms of social pathologies as alcoholism, disability, subculture of poor people, problems with the reintegration, permanent collision with law, unemployment and the lack of the registered residence, but also indifference, reluctance to taking up the low-paid work, high benefits, overdeveloped protective system of the state.
