Summary/Abstract: Processes of immigrants integration relate not only to contacts with the receiving society and their attitudes, but also to their position in social structure in terms of acquired and maintained social status. Formal and informal networks in which immigrants generate social capital are believed to play a crucial role for this processes. From the perspective of inclusion of immigrants the analysis of strong and weak ties are of great importance as well. The paper thus aims at examining the relations between social ties, networks and multidimensional processes of inclusion immigrants in the receiving society. In particular, we discuss the processes of generating bridging and bonding social capital accumulated in social ties and networks of immigrants who contracted mixed marriages. The subject of the research was migrants from Ukraine who possessed permission for settlement in Poland. The analysis presented in the paper is based mainly on a representative research study carried out with a sample of Ukrainian immigrants settled in Warsaw and its vicinity (the Mazowieckie province).
