Summary/Abstract: In this article, I will discuss the concept of adaptive strategy as it relates to mathematics pedagogy and music theory pedagogy, and discuss an online application I have developed that can be used to help students develop the use of adaptive strategy and acquire a mastery of music theory fundamentals.
