Innovation vs. structural changes in the labour market in the Lodzkie province

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to analyze changes in the employment structure occuring due to innovation in Lodzkie province. The first part of the article contains the research on the innovation level in lodzkie province. Next the analyses of the changes in the employment structure across economic activities and technology and knowledge-intensive sectors are conducted. The last part contains the research on the qualification and occupational structure of employees in lodzkie province. The time horizon of the study covers the period form 2008 to 2012.
