A Haptic Experience of Space

Summary/Abstract: This article seeks to address a step into the phenomenological approach of corporeality related to kinesthetic perception through the related works of architecture students. The article focuses on experimenting with kinesthetic perception and haptic space through the traditional methods of carpentry. Kinesthetic perception has become an important part of not only architectural education, but also of art and performance arts such as dance. The findings of the research display a particular difference in the perception and corporeal awareness of architecture students.
