Summary/Abstract: Continuing an article that appeared in the last number of Concept (vol. 7/nr. 2/December 2013) on the specific „concept” exercise, the author is trying to find out ideal ways to use the exercise in theatre work. Based on Sanford Meisner and David Mamet’s thoughts on character, but also on the Fast Food Stanislavski exercise by Keith Johnstone, it becomes obvious that character is given in this practitioner’s opinion by actions. The author tries to find a way to define the concept as exactly as possible as an instrument to engage the actors in actions which are not only the result of thought, but also of emotion.
