Summary/Abstract: The article presents the main events that led to the failure of the multilateral trade negotiations carried out within World Trade Organization framework. The author points out the factors that prevented the negotiating countries from reaching the positive outcome such as: emergence of the new economic powers, wide range of issues under negotiation and the methods of reaching final decision.
