Summary/Abstract: Concentration and Dynamism of the Crime against Property in Thirteen Cities of Slovakia. A typical characteristics of the significant increase of crime rate in Slovakia is its high concentration in cities. The aim of the paper was to find out which of the cities could by identified as crime centres, and which of them can be treated as potential risk areas. The presented findings can help urban sociologists in the study of life quality in the cities or social pathology of the cities. The paper points out the need to scrutinize, analyze, and explain the social roots of crime in the cities.
