Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to present the research findings concerning the development of the Belarusian nation since gaining independence. Yet, a nation is a complex political and social community with a dynamic structure, on top of which researchers’ and intellectuals’ methods in studying nations are just as unstable and changeable.
