Summary/Abstract: The Roman Catholic bishops of Transylvania, after 1920 densely corresponded with each other, especially on the Concordat project between the Romanian state and Vatican. In a special way in this fight has participated Mailáth G. Károly bishop from Transylvania, but until 1923 the chief role was played by Glattfelder Gyula bishop of Csanád. The bishops of Oradea and Satu Mare were ill in this time and soon they died, the bishop of Oradea, Széchényi Miklós in 1926, and bishop of Satu Mare Boromissza Tibor in 1928. In this time Glattfelder Gyula was expelled from Romania by the Romanian government. In this article the author off ers the real reason for his expulsion based on personal letters written to bishop Mailáth G. Károly.
