Measurement of professional inclinations – the use of Vocational Picture Test

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the Vocational Picture Test by Martin Achtnich as a tool to diagnose professional predispositions. Inclinations are professional relationships which a person taking part in research highly appreciates. The diagnosis refers to three levels of activity: temperament, character and professional personality. The author discusses the methods of results analysis: factor analysis, development analysis and typological analysis. Owing to the diagnosis there are clear predictions connected with professional career: professional competence and climate as well as organizational culture in which people taking part in the research can work effectively.
