Summary/Abstract: In peacetime, inside the military organization, logistics is outlined through a wide range of fields, among them a very important role being occupied by movement and transportation.This component will always be put in relationship of functionality with supplying military units and large units.Execution of transport missions, as general mission of logistics, represents a challenge for experts and military analysts, the material element in conjunction with the conceptual element will certainly lead to the need of fulfilling the assigned tasks in the best economicity conditions.This will be achievable only through efficient operational decision making and using methods and techniques to optimize the logistics decisions.
