THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE UN RESOLUTIONS CONCERNING WOMEN, PEACE, AND SECURITY WITHIN MILITARY ENVIRONMENT

Summary/Abstract: The implementation both at the organizational and national level of the UNSCR 1325 Resolution represents a permanent concern at NATO level. It has become a priority on the cooperation agenda between UN and NATO and it is also a major issue of interest at the level of EU and OSCE. Within such a context, the Romanian Armed Forces must continue to contribute to the unique and permanent implementation of the gender dimension for all operations and missions in accordance with the national and international legislation, and together with the NATO/EU/UN policies and objectives concerning the security and stability assurance on a wide scale.
