Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses Polish infinitive forms that occur in finite sentences and offers a contrary analysis of syntactic coherence in relation to the Principles and Parameters (PP) framework for Linguistic Theory by Chomsky (1981). The question raised is in which structural configurations these infinitives need to occur in order to be regarded as coherent.
