Summary/Abstract: European Union gives a European Police Office role by Internal Security Strategy, while giving them the opportunity to fulfill their mandate better conditions in terms of operational support in the fight against organized crime and terrorism. Europol places at its center the idea of a security model agreed at European level, which requires police intervention based on information. This model will help define common EU priorities and better understanding of the threats to the internal security of the Union. Police interventions based on information constitutes an essential and fundamental principle in all activities of Europol strategic assessment.
