Summary/Abstract: Machiavelli, politician and writer, and one of the foremost political thinkers of the Renaissance objectively observe all political phenomena, trying to find the cause of them, either in the community or in individual- psychological aspects of life. His theory expresses the ideal of Italy to fight against the remnants of feudalism, followed by a mercenary army, weak state authority and fragmentation of the state, all of which adversely affect capitalism. Despite the fact that, Machiavelli points out that his main role models great political writers of antiquity, especially Roman, his theory is completely different from the ancient idea, it is a reflection of reality.
