Summary/Abstract: Subject of this paper is analyse of political criminal offence as an exemption to extradition. Introductory general remarks on extradition and referring to political offence as an exemption to extradition, are followed by standpoints of main European extradition law sources, such as European convention on extradition from 1957, Convention related to extradition from 1996, and European Arrest Warrant. Besides that, the paper analyses standpoint of International Criminal Police Organisation toward political criminal offence and referring to this exemption during extradition from Bosnia and Herzegovina to another state.
