CONCEPT, TYPES AND PURPOSE OF PENALTIES IN THE REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

Summary/Abstract: From ancient times to date, all the states have system of various measures of social reaction for suspension of different forms of criminality of individuals and groups. Group of such measures imposed by competent organs of crminal justice on perpetrators of criminal offences are called criminal sanctions. We have several types of such sanctions which allows their adjustment to the degree of danger of criminal offence perpetrator as well as to severity of committed crminal offence. This documents is just about the concept, characteristics, elements, types and purpose of criminal sanctions in positive criminal law of the Republika Srpska.
