The "Islamic variant" in the morphology of culture in The Independent State of Croatia, 1941-1945

Summary/Abstract: This work is concerned to fit the Islam of the Bosnian and Hercegovinian Muslims, or today's Bosniaks, within the morphology of the culture of the NDH. The subject of analysis was the concept of the "Islamic variant" of Croatian culture within the context of promotional, literary, historiographical, and lexicographic text, undermining the idea of East/West cultural boundaries, although not the ethnic definition of the culture of the NDH.
