Summary/Abstract: After the World War Two there was a great progress in the science and technology. In some industries, new techniques production technologies have appeared. There emerged brand new products and many industries have disappeared; hence there was no demand for their production. Following the decline of old industries there was growing unemployment. Many countries in place of disappearing industries helped create from scratch or support the development of entirely new industries. This was the case of IT, biotechnology, selected departments of aerospace, chemical and pharmaceutical industries and many others. It has created many high-paying jobs. At the same time the development of services also contributed to the growth of jobs, such as e.g. Austria in 2012 (during the global crisis) had the unemployment rate about 4%. The current changes in the environment contribute to a large dependency of business effectiveness on its employees; hence it is necessary to use relationship marketing
