Mesoeconomic aspects of innovativeness of Polish economy

Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt to study the causes of variety of Polish regions’ innovativeness in the mesoeconomic aspect. The authoress discusses the essence of mesoeconomics as a science allowing to explain violent changes of the global and Polish economy in the last years. She uses the mesoeconomic analysis to present the regional innovation system and determinants of innovation processes in Polish regions. The authoress explains the causes of interregional disproportions featuring selected measures concerning science and technology in voivodeships.
