Summary/Abstract: This article is an attempt to answer the question: Is it possible to base economics on philosophy of Karol Wojtyła? At the beginning of the article the author characterizes the position of economics in the main stream of science. Next he points at the actual subject of economics and on the basis of this he tries to answer the main question. He also tries to show what can change in economics if it is based on philosophy of Karol Wojtyła.
