Summary/Abstract: Occupational health services (OHS) units consist of obligatory companies tasks and nonobligatory tasks as the results of employees health needs in a given company. Due to legal regulation responsibility for the choice of OHS unit in order to contract services to companies, OHS units compete to contract services and collect income. The key argument in the market competitiveness is the presentation of business case for offered products. The evidence of effectiveness and economic efficiency of OHS products is the decision argument also for purchaser. The aim of the article is to present the concept and key issues of business case from OHS unit perspective. Business case in OHS is considered as the critical point in occupational health programs implementation in the EU countries.
