Summary/Abstract: Marble fragment with Greek inscription dating from 3rd – 2nd c. B.C., discovered at the last level of the Getic fortress of Barbosi – Galati County. The small text, kept in sequences on six rows of the epigraph, for which the interpretations could be numerous but less assured, is part of an honorific decree. Both the front and the reverse of the fragment had been reused. Several of the recovered portraits and notes are presented, on which occasion we made assumptions concerning its provenance, political and demographic aspects of the area.
