Summary/Abstract: The question of authenticity of some ancient bronze figurines is often debated in the international scholarly literature. These representations raise uncertainties, both historically and artistically (the so-called dubitanda). The author reviews several such object (38 pieces) that are preserved nowadays in Romanian museums.
